Friend or Foe??

I have been trying to figure out how to get more cardio into my routine. Thanks Beth, for suggesting this. I did not make it for very long tonight but I look forward to working up to an hour. It is definatly worth the money I invested.

Lots of Snow!

The kids had a blast today.. we tried to make a snowman but the snow is so light that it doesn't stick together well. We'll try again tomorrow.

So this next one might be my favorite, I had her really bundled but the back of her jacket lifted when she laid down in the snow. So what would you do....how about lay down face forward and do a snow angel that way...funny her back didn't get wet again.

She is amazingly bright!

Ava and Audrey

Ava and Audrey just finished lunch. They both got to be with Grandma, while I helped in Spencer's class. We have had a great morning, talking walking and laughing. Lunch was a hit, whole wheat quesidilla and soup for Audrey. I will be shopping for a cup for Ava. I was going to say what a great job she was doing.....until she learned that the cup was not spill proof and pored her water out of her cup through the straw hole. Smart Ava not so smart Tia. NAP TIME!

Stupid Mat

So this summer Shannon and I were worried about Audrey and her climbing. We thought that maybe she might hurt herself or Spencer might. Maybe fall out of a tree or something. Leave it to me to tripp on a mat and end up in urgent care. I thought I would share some of the pretty colors...after one day! I'm sure it will get even prettier!

Cooking Dinner

We initiated Spencer dinner night. Spencer loves to be in the kitchen, so one night a week he chooses what he will cook and make it. We bought him a kids cookbook. Last nights dinner... Italian Beef Dippers. Yum, he did a great job!

Childrens

Spencer had an appointment at Childrens Hospital for his ear. He did great on his hearing test. Still moderate to mild hearing loss in the one ear. Next year he will probably have one more surgery on it to open it up a little more. Dr Sie called him a "kick in the pants".( Notice once again Audrey is off the ground.)

Thinking....

I had an awesome week this week. I heard an Olympic diver once said that he focuses on his technique rather than the outcome. I've been focusing so hard on what the scale is or is not doing that it determines what kind of week I might have. So this week I focused on my technique and lost . I am so excited.
I decided to stop going to Curves and discontinued my membership. I've focused on my Jillian workout and am seeing results.(I might not be able to fly anymore, my arms are firming up.) This week I've also focused on more cardio, still is my week point but I'm trying.
After last weeks pics I might wait to add more. I think I may have gotten a little bit ahead of myself in my brain as far as my appearance. Anyhow, I'm keeping the momentum and again I want to focus on my technique.
We will see how it goes!

Yes, I did feed her today. In fact I think all this walking is giving her a mighty appetite. Pancakes, yogurt and Banana, breakfast bar english muffin pacha......and whatever I was eating. Why not try a sock?

Lesson

Lesson of the day, sometimes you think you look good in an outfit only to learn later that it probably should not be worn again. These pics just reinforce to me that I have a long ways to go!

Family Day

Art projects, movie, outside walks, games ... just a few of the wonderful activities that we did today. Even Grandpa got out for a walk. The sun was shining and all were happy. We had a great day!

Morning at the Doctor

Audrey had her 4 year old checkup today. She is doing great at 40" tall and 35lbs. I was informed that she will be taller than me:). Dr. Schneller thought she should do gymnastics because of her passing all balance test with flying colors...SURPRISE!! (He should of seen her a few minutes before he came in standing on his stool... no test would have been needed!)

This first shot is before the five shots that she received today! Yes, I did say five!

After pinning her down to get all five in her, I've decided it is a good thing I've been workin out!!! Even when she is crying she sees the camera and attempts to smile for me>

Spencer has been out of school for most of this week sick. He has laryngitis now (so quiet around here right now..hee hee) . So instead of school he got his throat swabbed and 2 shots.( Good news its not strep, bad..he is still contagious, so still no Ava today:( )Why make two trips.
