Sunday

Our last day. Audrey loves her cousin Priscella. She was so wore out by that afternoon she only made it through half the drama. We sat with Ava( somehow I have no pictures of her), she did amazing for her first convention. We will now wait patiently for our next picnic at the Convention.

Saturday Night

We needed to cool down after a 90 degree day indoors. Auntie, Uncle and Ava had us over for a swim and BBQ. Thank You!!

We had lots of time with friends and family.

Friday

All year Audrey has asked us when we get to have a picnic at the Convention. We finally did, strawberries included. Great spiritual and physical food. We had an awsome day.

District Convention First 5 Minutes

Soooo....... we parked, walked twenty steps , and down she went. Five minutes later she was at first aid. This is her 3rd year to the convention and her second trip to first aid. Both for scraped knees. I did have a bandaid ready this year. The knee will heal (maybe in September) the dress may have seen its last day......We'll see!!

Out of School

Spencer is now a big third grader. I would have posted sooner but it has been a busy week. Last day of school was Tuesday, he spent Wednesday shopping with his papa, Wednesday night and Thursday with grandma, Thursday night he gave his fourth bible reading (did great) and Friday he helped with Ava.
I had a moment and needed to see how much he has changed since Kindergarten, as you can see the difference is amazing. He has always been an amazing kid!!! Look at the light in his eyes. These pictures show how important it is to enjoy each day of being a parent. Time goes too fast.

Ava's Day

Playing, crying, an outing to Sumner,more playing and food in between adds up to a great nap....hopefully.(Spencer cam at work)

We had a happy morning,until nap time. Might get a long nap later on??? (note to all... do not check on baby after she crys herself to sleep. Why??? She wakes up crying as well)

Kindergarten Grad

I wanted to say congratulations to my niece. Emma just graduated Kindergarten. I don't get to see my nieces and nephew very often as they live in California. I think of you all often and miss you. Great job Emma.

Ava is here with us again. Uncle Shannon got all the smiles this morning. Ava's mommy has only called once this morning, I thought she might like a photo update.

Backyard fun

We had a small bon fire in the backyard (we had some wood that needed to go). Papa and the kids made s'mores for dinner and I made hot dogs for desert. Imagine what we will do when summer finally arrives.!

It is my privilege to have Ava here with me on Fridays. Some of you know the that Katie has had the kids at least one day a week since Spencer was 6 weeks old. They have a very special relationship with their Auntie and Uncle. I hope that Ava and I have a special relationship as well. This is our first day of many to come.
