Waiting for Erin

What do you think time is like for a Four year old? The big day has arrived, two weeks ago Audrey was invited to spend the night with Erin ( a pioneer sister in our hall that Audrey loves). I think this last two weeks was the longest I have ever experienced which leads me to believe that two weeks to a four year old is comparable to a month in real time.

This is how we spent the last half hour. Eat lunch and watch out the window. She is sooooooo excited. :)

New Toys

The girls were having kind of a cranky day today(all of them). So to make things all better we went shopping. We are all better now eating lunch and then will nap. Shopping and naps the cure all for all girls!

The Mile

Why the bad picture? I attempted to run a mile this morning. Yes I said attempt. I have made it my goal to run the 5k part of the Sound of Narrows and started my running today. I was amazed at how far I could run without stopping, It wont be too long before I get up to the first mile. I have to admit it would be nicer if it was warmer than 35.

Hollow Leg??

Today has been great, Ava and Audrey have been playing all morning....and eating. I almost wonder where all the food is going. Banana, Pancake and Pear, more Banana, quesidilla with cheese and almost a whole apple...with a half of bottle as well. She has been happy and giggly all day and now hopefully down for a long nap so mom and dad can enjoy the giggles tonight. (Side note...she does not like Brahms lullaby! It came on TV and she broke into tears....odd, but I guess it does sound sad when a penguin is singing it to a rabbit )

Hair Cut

I have been trying to grow Audreys bangs out for a while now. Shannon has not been loving it. He felt that it was making his little girl look to big. Soooo we got her hair cut. I never thought it would be me who had a hard time cutting her hair. I do have to say, I like it. She thinks it is pretty cool as well.
