Training

What have I gotten myself into? I am having a difficult time finding the time to train. I know I need to make the time for me but it seems as if everyone and everything is getting in my way. I know excuses excuses. I made a goal and need to stick to it. I'm thinking part of the problem is me. My sister-in-law blogged about the "click" moment. The moment that you realize that you are doing it...the moment that you know that you are achieving your goals.
I am very nervous about running this half marathon. What if I let everyone down? What if I have to walk? Will I be the heaviest one there? Why do I think I can run with the big dogs? Will people look at me and know that I dont belong?
As I am typing I realize that some of these questions are ridiculous and seeing them in print brings that to the light. Some however are very much the truth. I wish I knew more about myself, how to push myself as hard as I can. To be in pain and push past it. I wish I knew how to get past the limits in my head, to feel like I belong.

I had Shannon take these pictures the other night. I went and bought myself some new workout clothes and he had just gotten home. His eyes got wide in that WOW kind of way. I needed to see myself as he saw me then. I wish that I was further along....but kind of like where I am going.
I have two more months of training. I am going to have to get focused on my goal at hand. I set myself up to feel success...now I need to make sure I dont fail! My training start date was a few weeks ago. I put myself in ''time out"......time to get back in the game!

SeaBrook

We are spending the weekend at Seabrook with Jim, Katie and Ava. Here are some shots from today. These are the ones from the beginning of our trip to the beach. The ones on our way back are not as full of smiles. Audrey needs some warmer water. She was playing in the surf and tripped in the water.....not so pleasant in 57 degree windy weather and 48 degree water.

Chambers Creek

We have all been under the weather for the last week. We took the morning to get some fresh air and a good walk.
